2020 Toyota Tacoma

There are two engines available for the 2020 Toyota Tacoma: a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque and a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. These engines pair with a six-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission that contributes to an efficient and powerful ride.

One benefit of having a pickup truck is being able to tow and haul large loads. The 3.5-liter V-6, combined with an available tow package, provides a maximum payload capacity of 1,440 pounds and a towing capacity of 6,800 pounds, which is enough to tow a small trailer or boat. You also get the Trailer-Sway Control system, which distributes braking power to the wheels that need it to maintain control over what you're towing. With the TRD Off-Road trim, the Crawl Control system adjusts the brakes and throttle to help your truck navigate seamlessly over uneven and rocky terrain. In addition, the electronically locking rear differential allocates power to certain wheels to provide more grip over the trail. You also get the Multi-Terrain Select feature, which helps you control your wheelspin by adjusting the traction and engine throttle with five different drive modes.

The 2020 Toyota Tacoma keeps you connected on the go with a standard 7.0-inch touch-screen display in the SR and an 8.0-inch version in all other trim levels. Both displays integrate with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can enjoy your favorite music and podcasts from the comfort of your truck. USB ports and wireless charging are available options that help you maintain your smartphone connectivity when you need it most. There's also an available 4.2-inch multi-information display that provides pertinent vehicle information, such as your Multi-Terrain Select settings. The Tacoma features soft-touch materials and leather-trimmed seating in the Limited trim. New for 2020, the Tacoma gets a power-adjustable driver's seat with additional lumbar support, so you'll stay comfortable during all of your adventures.
