Today I decided I absolutely had to get my ’03 Tacoma turn lights fixed.  It was a hard decision at this time of year.  Pulled into Pedersen Toyota to make appointment and get some idea of cost.  Got pickup into service bay as directed and after some discussion was directed to the customer lounge.  During this time a half dozen Pedersen people crossed my path and genuinely smiled and said hello – for which I am most grateful for these days.  Sometime later, my service manager came in and put his hand on my shoulder and said my rig was ready.  I tentatively asked how much and he replied “this one is on me”.  I could have cried.  At 75, alone, on a marginal income – he made my Christmas.
